ABOUT LEROY
Leroy Butler is a native of Newburgh, New York. At a young age his family relocated to the small town of Salemburg, NC. He is a vocalist, song writer, publisher, entrepreneur, and father.
He submitted his life to God at an early age, while attending church with his grandparents, whom he adored. This is where his journey began in Christ. He participated in singing with various choirs and groups.
In 1988, he decided to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps and carried his faith, passion for singing and serving the Lord with him. In 1995, while serving in the Marines he and his family joined God’s City of Refuge, non-denominational church, in Newport, NC, under the leadership of Apostle Willie Murray Sr. and this is where his faith walk took a drastic turn. His journey in Christ became elevated to another level of understanding that required an intimate relationship with God. That experience transformed his entire perspective of who God is and the revelation of his identity that started his faith and love journey in Christ Jesus.
He has ministered different genres of Christian music. Leroy has had the pleasure of working with the following musical producers Terrance Howell and Jesse Wood of (RMC) Revival Music Company, Damion Murrill of (DMG) Divinity Music Group, Derrick Adams, Gospel Artist The End Time Messengers of Kinston, NC and Jazz Artist Marcus Anderson.
It is only when we come to understand God’s love, from HIS perspective (1 Corinthians 13) that we can begin to walk out and be the expressed image of who he is in the earth. The love of God is the most powerful force in the Universe because nothing will ever supersede HIS unmeasured grace towards us.
Loving, encouraging and helping people to understand who God is his greatest passion.
